tradeoffs
yes, it’s true, i don’t have any makeup on today
BUT my hair looks great
good/bad
bad- i got practically nothing-okay actually nothing, done today
good-it is so late that i may be able to actually sleep tonight, as opposed to the last three-ish nights of pseudo sleep. that being said, if i wake up at 5 am tomorrow like i did today, i am throwing someone, quite likely myself, out a window.
did you see my tarantula photo?
because if not, you should. actually, all the ecuador photos i posted today are worth a look.

my internet travels have centered around children suffering from cancer and other illnesses. caringbridge is a wonderful site, but brought me many tears tonight.

do you know the species in the picture?
longer baby sea lion video. less action. still cute.
baby sea lion playing with a feather. (this is the shorter, more exciting version of one of my favorite memories of ecuador ever.)
is that a yes?

so yes, spent the night being a fan girl. will go away soon, i hope.
i love spring
it’s chilly, but jack and i just went outside and found a stick and ran around chasing it for a while. this is a new talent for jack. he never chased any kind of ball or any toy, but he will chase, and play tug of war, with sticks. i’m pretty sure it’s only because he views them as a kind of food (he likes to chew them up).
i'm a failure at being dutch
