we’re in manhattan, kansas tonight for my interview for vet school tomorrow. it also happens to be the night of the ku/ksu basketball game in manhattan. apparently we picked a nice hotel - the guys from espn are staying in the same hotel as us.
i came back to the us and promptly got a cold
can i just leave now?
watched the proposal with my mom
it was HILARIOUS. loved it.

what i missed (and didn't miss)
in the rainforest- i missed ice cream and chocolate. actually, anything cold. really cold. everything at the lodge had been carried up the river for four hours in a canoe. it was 100 degrees in the day and 85 at night, and ice cream sounded heavenly.
on the boat- soda. diet coke more specifically. in ecuador ,the diet cooke (coca-cola light) tastes like pepsi
i did not miss the internet
